Recommended Applications
Pond or lake pumps and aerators, exhaust fans, automatic feeders, LED or CFL lighting, cell phone charging, battery charging (charge a battery during the day for nighttime use!), laptops, small televisions or monitors, portable radios, fans, and boondocking. Not recommended for medical equipment or critical loads.

Important System Sizing Note
The Suntaqe is a direct-drive solution and DOES NOT utilize Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT). Users should expect an effective power transfer of approximately 40% relative to the solar panel's rated wattage.

Sizing Example: To drive an 80W pump continuously, you will need approximately 200W of solar panels to account for this direct-drive overhead.

• Pulse Damping: Integrated bulk capacitance smooths out the high-current "gulps" from pump strokes, protecting the solar panel voltage from collapsing.
• Smart UVLO (Cloud Mode): An integrated Undervoltage Lockout prevents the system from disabling during low-light conditions that would damage a standard inverter.
• Soft Start Technology: A controlled power ramp-up gently engages the inverter, reducing rapid system cycling and allowing for beneficial pump 'pulse' events in low light conditions without overloading the startup.

Critical Safety Warnings & Installation Notes

• Strict Solar Input Limits (MAX 50V VOC): This device is rated for a maximum of 50V VOC (Open Circuit Voltage) across all weather conditions.
• Cold Weather Advisory: Solar panel voltage rises significantly in cold weather. Ensure your panel's VOC rating at your coldest local temperature does not exceed 50V. Exceeding this limit will trigger internal protection circuits, may damage the unit, and will void the warranty.
• Grounding: The Suntaqe does not feature a dedicated local equipment grounding terminal. The solar panel frame MUST be grounded at a minimum to mitigate damage from potential lightning strikes.
